Do these once, then again when a storm is on the forecast.
Leave the battery on the charger with your CPAP connected. It stays full, and if the power goes out, your CPAP keeps running on the battery.
Same battery, same cable, same voltage setting, one full night. It's the only way to know your own number of nights.
Put the voltage and the cable on a note taped to the battery, so anyone in the house can set it up in the dark.
The humidifier and heated tube use the most power. Turning them off can add nights.
Recharge from the car or a solar panel during the day, so the battery is ready by bedtime.

Charge while you drive, or with the engine running outdoors. Never run it in a closed garage. The ES960 PRO takes about 6 hours from a 12V or 24V vehicle socket.

When the power's back, or anywhere that still has power: a friend's house, a library, a community center. The ES960 PRO fills up in about 5 hours with the adapter in the box.
Nights are estimated at 8.4W, ResMed's published draw for an AirSense 10 at 6 cmH2O, with the humidifier and heated tube off and 8 hours a night. Higher pressure, a humidifier or a heated tube means fewer nights. It's an estimate, not a guarantee.
