Product overview

A 148Wh reserve for light outages and travel plans that allow an airline-approval route.

Product highlights

  • 148Wh compact reserve

More margin than ES270 while remaining easier to carry and store than the larger multi-night platforms.

  • Plan airline approval early

A 148Wh battery can require advance airline approval. Confirm the carrier and route before travel.

  • Selectable CPAP output

Use the documented 12V/5A · 16.5V/4A · 20V/3.5A · 24V/3.5A output stages. Confirm the exact machine, cable and battery output before connection.

  • Four documented CPAP cables

Keep the correct machine-specific cable with the battery as one tested kit.

  • Wall, vehicle and solar routes

Recharge planning can follow the trip instead of depending on a single power source.

  • Pass-through support

Use a tested full setup when continuous backup through a charging interruption matters.

Runtime assumptions & travel limits

Before you connect

  • Your exact CPAP model, not only the brand or series
  • The output voltage printed on its original power adapter
  • Whether humidification and heated tubing will remain on overnight

Planning ranges assume humidification and heated tubing are off and are not runtime guarantees. Actual runtime varies with the CPAP model, prescribed pressure, mask leak, room temperature, battery condition and comfort settings.

Keep prescribed therapy settings unchanged, confirm the cable and voltage, and run one complete overnight test before relying on the setup.

148Wh. Obtain airline approval and confirm carry-on, route and on-board use rules before departure.

It works great

I have mine set up to power a 12 volt converter to 24 volts and the battery pack is plugged in to 110 volts after the battery was fully charged the charger cooled down and it stays cool even when I use my biPAP for sleeping. Had a power outage because of bad weather and my biPAP never went out when power came back on the battery charged back up and i didn’t have to do anything. I was really not sure about how well this would work. It’s is amazing how well it works . I really like that it is FFA approved so if I have to fly a long time I can sleep . It does come with a cord you can plug in to the battery and then in to your Machine . I did the conversion so that mine is set up like a back up power supply. Hopefully my review will help answer some of the questions I had.

Items sold as new are second hand and dirty too;

30 minutes after delivery, I was disgusted to see that the device and the instruction manual were very ugly, dirty, with black spots (only clearly visible with a black device when held at an angle against the sun, so it was difficult to photograph. Obviously a second-hand device! Why do this over and over again? Since my laptop absolutely needs a DC rechargeable power bank (at least 19.5 V and 45 Watts are recommended), I still want to give the device a chance and will now use it properly, fully charge it, and use it. Then I will increase or even decrease the 3 stars in a few days/weeks. It didn't start well!

Worked fantastic with AirMini

Worked great with Resmed Air Mini,

It comes with the attachment cable - and all you have to do is adjust the voltage to 24V and it works.

Night 1 logged 7 hours 51 minutes
Night 2 logged 9 hours 14 minutes

Still had half the battery left - I didn’t test it another night. I’ll update when I try it for 3/4 nights

Cpap Resmed airsense 10.

Very powerful pack. I managed to get two full nights sleep from this power pack using my cpap machine. It came with leads that fitted the machine. Only bought for this reason. Great for a weekend camping. I imagine it would be good for numerous other devices . It was delivered quickly and efficiently.

Finally for CPAP users! A good affordable solution

Finally for CPAP users! A good affordable solution I was diagnosed with severe sleep apnea a few years ago, and since I had some symptoms, I could see it coming. Despite this, it had already worsened a few weeks before I decided to have a sleep test.
Since starting the treatment, my device has been with me everywhere I go! This includes flights, motorcycle trips, visiting family and friends, etc.
However, one activity I gave up on in the sway of my and others' sleep (snoring) was camping, since a few months ago I decided to go on a month-long motorcycle trip in countries that allow wild camping. This was a wake-up call; my camping/hiking equipment came with me, as did my CPAP, which meant I needed to find a good, lightweight, not ridiculously expensive solution for the combo (motorcycle + CPAP + light camping).
I researched and concluded that an airplane-rated power bank combined with my bike's charging capabilities would be sufficient. I spend most of the day on my bike, and my motorcycle offers two USB ports for charging devices.
I chose the EASYLONGER ES400 (40000mAh / 148 Wh), which offers 12V/16.5V/20V/24V DC output and the right cables for my devices for different devices at a much more acceptable and reasonable price than the expensive official cables.
The order was placed and received yesterday. I took charge of the power bank and prepared for the first test. For my test, following the advice of various sources, I disabled my humidifier (besides, I almost never carry a humidifier when traveling, so it was useless to test it), configured the power bank for 12v output, and finally connected the extra DC cable from the power bank to my CPAP machine, which was turned on.... Boom, Houston, we have a fire!
Seven hours later, I woke up to find my devices working properly and the power bank still had plenty of juice left (only a quarter of a ring was consumed).
Thank you for providing affordable and quality products to us sleep apnea patients! This review is intended to help sleep apnea patients find a treatment option that not only meets their needs but also allows them to do the activities they need.

Update (July 28, 2023 I spent four weeks camping in Norway on my motorbike and I can vouch that the power bank never failed!
Highly recommended!

Perfect for all laptops without a USB-C PD charging port+++ but less than the stated 148 Wh

The EASYLONGER ES400 power bank is designed for people who don't have the typical USB-C PD The charging port of the laptop provides more energy, regardless of the power outlet. For this, a range of different plugs are included, especially many barrel-shaped plugs, which (unfortunately) come in countless variations. But the rectangular plugs of the old Lenovo devices are also included.

You can set the desired voltage, a stable voltage converter is installed in the power bank. I tried different laptops and the whole thing worked very well. I was also able to verify the output power of almost 60 Watts. 60 W operation is certainly not enough for a high-performance gaming laptop, but if you start charging in time (i.e. not just when the internal battery is dead), the operating time will still be extended.

The device is of high quality and feels very good in the hand. Of course, it is heavy, the battery and the voltage converter for 60 W of power already need their weight.

About the power bank I have really only one thing to complain about: 148 Wh is given as capacity, but I was able to charge only 72,100 mWh after completely emptying it, and 55,900 mWh after fully charging it. A little deviation is normal, since the battery has to remain at the end, and then the charging electronics shut down. But I would have thought that I would have been able to take out more 65 to 70 Wh (after charging losses etc). For this, one asterisk deducted.

Overall, a very good device for people who have a laptop with a non-USB-C plug. A low-cost adjustable voltage conversion is also needed, since there are cheaper power banks for USB-C (about 100 $). Get four stars from me for this power bank.

Energy storage is not only for mobile phones

This battery pack is packed fast and safe.
The battery pack comes with a USB-c to USB-c cable, a USB to USB micro cable, a charging cable with a round connector and several adapters for laptops and other devices, as well as a multilingual user manual and a transport bag.
The battery pack has two USB-c ports that can be full from 5 to 24 with a maximum output of 3 amps.
The battery also has a regular USB output, which is mainly used for calls where charging is not fast.
Next to it is a round current output that can provide a current output of 24 to 3 volts at 12 amps, which is also used to charge the battery pack.
Next to it is a small display that shows the set voltage, unfortunately only for the round connection.
In addition to the round connector, the battery pack can be recharged again via the USB-c port.
The battery pack has a maximum power of 60 watts and can be used on various connections or inductive charging surfaces with a maximum power of 10 watts.
However, you should note that the consumption of these two USB-c ports should be 2 amps, otherwise there may be charging problems.
Regular USB There should also be at least 1 ampere of current output on the port, otherwise it will not be detected and the battery will be scrapped again.
With this battery pack, it is also possible to charge the phone via inductive charging, with a maximum power of 10 watts.
To activate the inductive charging mode, you have to press the power button briefly once to turn it on and turn it off again after a short time when not in use.
The round power output for the laptop must be turned on by pressing the power button for a long time and then manually adjusted to the appropriate voltage, which is done by pressing the power button briefly.
If you want to charge a device via this laptop connection, you must make sure that the corresponding volts are set on the device, because unfortunately this does not happen automatically.
The manufacturer recommends using a charger with a power of 60 watts, which should then fully charge the battery in 2 1/2 hours, with a weaker device, such as the one that comes with the phone, it may take up to two days to charge the battery.
I charged this device in 1 1/2 hours with a 100-watt USB charger.
Personally, if the display also shows USB Ports, power and voltage, that would be great, especially for a device in this price range.
Overall, I am satisfied and can give a purchase recommendation here, giving it 4 stars.

ES400 AIR support

FAQ

What can I power with ES400 AIR?

ES400 AIR has 148Wh of battery capacity for compatible CPAP equipment and everyday USB devices. Connect your CPAP using the cable and output voltage specified for its exact model.

USB-C output supports up to 30W for phones, tablets and other compatible small USB devices.

How do I set the correct voltage for my CPAP?

Keep the CPAP disconnected while selecting voltage. Confirm the exact machine and cable, then match the voltage printed on its original power adapter. If you select the wrong value, exit voltage mode and reset it as the battery manual directs before connecting the CPAP.

Can I use pass-through charging overnight?

Yes. ES400 AIR supports pass-through charging with the charger and connections specified in its manual. The battery level can still fall if your equipment uses more power than the charger supplies. Keep the battery ventilated and test the complete setup before relying on it overnight.

How many nights can I expect?

Planning range: Up to 1–2 nights with humidifier and heated tube off. Actual runtime varies with your CPAP model, pressure, leakage, temperature and battery condition. Test the complete setup with your usual settings before relying on it away from home.

How do I know which cable my CPAP needs?

Match the complete CPAP model and adapter voltage in the compatibility guide. Connector shape alone is not enough.

What should I test when it arrives?

Charge fully, verify voltage and cable, then run one complete night using the settings you plan to rely on.

What purchase protection is included?

Eligible purchases from easylonger.com include a 5-year warranty and direct product support. Eligible orders can be returned within 30 days of receipt; approval is required and shipping or handling fees may apply. Check the terms for your order below.
