Researched power data

CPAP battery runtime, without the guesswork.

Choose a supported machine and your therapy settings. Estimates are grounded in published manufacturer power data and deliberately rounded down.

⚠️ All estimates use conservative calculations (75% efficiency, no over-promise). Actual runtime may vary based on altitude, temperature, mask leakage, and machine firmware. Always test at home before travel.

Pressure Setting 10 cmH₂O
4 cmH₂O (Low) 20 cmH₂O (High)
Heated Humidifier Significantly reduces runtime
⚠ High power draw: Humidifier + heated tube adds ~30–45W. Runtime will be reduced by up to 65%. We strongly recommend turning off humidification when running on battery.

Estimated Battery Runtime
Data quality: AirSense 10 and S9 use ResMed's published pressure-by-pressure battery tables; AirMini uses ResMed's official 6.3W typical draw. AirSense 11, DreamStation and Luna G3 use EASYLONGER's measured 10 cmH₂O baselines with a conservative pressure adjustment.

How we calculate: Runtime = battery capacity × 75% usable-energy allowance ÷ manufacturer-based device draw.
Official-table values are linearly interpolated between published test points. AirSense 10 “humidifier on” means SlimLine tubing at setting 4; S9 means H5i at setting 3. AirMini HumidX requires no electricity. For measured-baseline models, pressure changes use a conservative 0.55W per cmH₂O adjustment.
Sources: ResMed Battery Guide, ResMed AirMini fact sheet, and EASYLONGER measured baselines. Actual runtime varies with leak, altitude, temperature, battery age, climate settings and conversion method. Test your setup before relying on it away from mains power.
