Honestly, the worst thing about being a CPAP/BiPAP user in full compliance are those situations where you CAN'T use your machine. Recently, my neighborhood suffered an extended power outage, and while I have a small capacity UPS (uninterruptible power supply), it's only good for a bit less than an hour. I was absolutely MISERABLE, trying to snatch fitful sleep almost upright, because I know how serious my apnea is, and how badly it messes up my health to sleep without my machine.

With this Easylonger Pro battery pack, I would have been fine. (And I will be fine, next time it happens.)

Let me start with the only negative I've so far found with this product: it's really ugly. The camo pattern is just ... dumb. But, you know, that's cosmetics, so moving on.

It weight about four pounds, but it's fairly low-profile, so it will travel fine. It isn't recommended for air-travel ... though I'm not exactly sure why.

The claims are this battery will last two or three nights. I can't say for sure that's true, but I tested it for one night, and it was still above half. And my machine is an old BiPAP, which uses more energy than a CPAP or more modern devices of either kind. One full night, plus change, is enough for this to be worthwhile to me.

It comes with multiple cables for different PAP machines, and more are available after-market. I was, frankly, shocked to find that my 20-year-old ResMed Series-M worked. It did takes some experimentation as to which power-draw port to use, but it worked just fine. I can't see it having many issues, OOTB, for modern PAP machines.

It doubles as a charging station for electronic devices of many kinds, and even has wireless induction charging. (Be careful, though ... wireless charging isn't very efficient. Don't underestimate how much power you're pulling.) I use the battery in pass-through mode -- meaning the battery is plugged into AC power and my PAP machine is plugged into the battery. This should mean no sleep interruptions if the power goes out in the middle of the night. Charging options like solar panels are available, but I don't have or use such things, so I can't comment on them.

The controls are pretty intuitive, and the instructions are decent. But, again, note that my particular PAP machine was not accounted for in the instructions, so I had to experiment to find out what would work. I'd estimate it took me 10-15 minutes to be confident in the battery.

This battery is not cheap, at $280 as I write this. But if you're a fully compliant PAP-user, or know one, the cost is worth it to not have to struggle with lack of sleep during a power outage.

This is an excellent backup and travel battery for my CPAP. I already own two smaller CPAP batteries for backpacking, so adding this one for home outages, car camping and other travel made total sense.

It's sturdy and the screen is easy to read. The variety of included cables makes setup pretty painless no matter which device you own. Pass through power is the primary reason I wanted this, so the CPAP doesn’t just shut off in the middle of the night if the power blips. It’s not small or ultra light (really, it's quite large and heavy), but for emergency use and camping where you’re not counting weight, it’s a winner.
