ES270 FAQS

ES270 Frequently Asked Questions

1. Which CPAP machines is this battery compatible with?

This CPAP battery comes with four DC cables and is compatible with most major CPAP brands, including ResMed AirMini, AirSense 10, AirSense 11, AirCurve 10, AirCurve 11, S9, and Philips DreamStation/DreamStation 2. It supports both 12V and 24V CPAP machines. For other CPAP devices, a separately purchased charging cable may be required.

2. How long can the CPAP battery last on a full charge?

The ES270 can power the ResMed AirMini for up to 8-10 hours (with humidification and heating mode turned off). For higher-power CPAP machines, runtime may be shorter. To maximize battery life, we recommend turning off humidification and heating features during use.

3. Is this battery FAA/TSA approved?

Yes! The ES270 has a 99.9Wh capacity, making it FAA/TSA-approved for carry-on luggage. It's perfect for air travel, allowing you to use your CPAP device during flights and at your destination without hassle.

4. Can this battery power 2 CPAP machines at the same time?

No, the ES270 is designed to power one CPAP machine at a time. Powering multiple devices simultaneously will significantly reduce runtime and may not provide sufficient power for both devices.

5. How to recharge this battery?

The ES270 can be recharged using multiple methods:

  • Wall Outlet: Use the included PD 60W adapter via the USB-C port (1.5-2 hours for a full charge).
  • Car Charger: Use a car charger with USB-C output (compatible with most 12V vehicle power outlets).
  • Solar Panel: Connect a 100W solar panel via the USB-C port for eco-friendly charging (weather-dependent).
  • DC Input: Use a 72W adapter via the DC port for fastest charging (1.4 hours to full).
6. How do I connect this battery to my CPAP machine?

1. Check your CPAP machine's voltage (usually 12V or 24V).
2. Select the appropriate DC cable from the package.
3. Connect the cable to the battery's DC output port.
4. Plug the other end into your CPAP machine.
5. Press the power button to activate (LED indicators will show battery status).

7. How do I turn off the battery?

Press and hold the power button for 3 seconds until the LED indicators turn off. Ensure no devices are connected before turning off to avoid unexpected shutdowns.

8. Does this battery work with solar charging?

Yes! The ES270 features a USB-C input port compatible with 100W solar panels. Connect your solar panel to recharge the battery while camping or during power outages. Note: Charging time depends on solar panel efficiency and sunlight availability.

9. Will it work with a ResMed AirSense 10?

Yes! The ES270 is compatible with the ResMed AirSense 10 (24V). Use the included 24V DC cable to connect directly to the battery. Runtime is approximately 6-8 hours with standard settings (humidifier off).

10. Does the battery support pass-through charging?

Yes! The ES270 supports pass-through charging, allowing you to power your CPAP machine while simultaneously recharging the battery. Use the DC input port for charging and the DC output port for your CPAP.

11. What do I need to charge the CPAP battery from a cigarette lighter?

You'll need a USB-C car charger (up to 60W) compatible with your vehicle's 12V power outlet. Simply plug the car charger into the cigarette lighter and connect the USB-C cable to the ES270's USB-C input port.
