Planning tool

See what your comfort settings cost in runtime.

Change the battery, CPAP draw, humidifier and heated tubing to build a realistic planning range before purchase.

Your setup

Choose your equipment, then enter your power use.

The estimate uses your entered power values. Device ratings are not measured overnight use.
General comparison scenarios
Editable examples, not verified averages for your selected machine. Each button clears the additional heat loads; use settings that reflect your actual setup.

Starting example: 12W CPAP draw, 8 hours per night, humidifier and heated tube off. Replace it with your measured usage; this is not a setting recommendation.

Your power use

12W is a no-heat planning starting point, not a fixed rating for every CPAP. Use your measured average draw. If it already includes heating, leave the additional heating inputs at 0 to avoid counting them twice.
Choose 1–24 hours. The default is 8 hours; use your own planned duration.

Additional heating

Use measured additional average watts. If your main input already includes all heating, leave this at 0 to avoid double counting.
Use measured additional average watts. Do not use the heater maximum as an overnight average.

Use your actual therapy settings and test the complete setup. Do not change prescribed treatment or comfort settings based on this calculator. This estimate does not confirm cable, voltage or machine compatibility.

Preparing your planning estimate…

Read the result correctly

An estimate is a planning range, not a promise.

Battery watt-hours are fixed. CPAP demand changes through the night, so a complete overnight test remains the final proof.

01

Start with watt-hours.

Capacity describes stored energy, not guaranteed nights.

02

Allow conversion loss.

The calculator reserves 18% for conversion and system overhead.

03

Add comfort heat.

Humidification and heated tubing can become the largest load.

04

Keep a reserve.

The plan-around figure holds back another 15% for real-world variation.

What changes overnight

The machine is only part of the load.

  • Pressure and machine modeMotor demand changes with the settings used at bedtime.
  • Mask leakageMore airflow can mean more power consumption.
  • Humidifier and heated tubeHeating can materially shorten runtime.
  • Temperature and battery conditionCold and aging reduce available energy.

Before you decide

Questions worth answering before checkout.

Confirm compatibility and realistic runtime before you buy.

Open support center
How do I know which cable my CPAP needs?

Start with the exact machine model and the voltage printed on its original power adapter. The compatibility tool narrows the cable family, and support can confirm the final connection before purchase.

Why is my runtime lower with the humidifier on?

Heating water and a breathing tube adds significant power demand. Published multi-night estimates assume humidification and heated tubing are off unless the page states otherwise.

Can I take every EASYLONGER battery on a plane?

No. ES270 is the airline-oriented 99.9Wh model. Higher-capacity ES720 and ES960 PRO exceed common passenger-aircraft battery limits and should not be presented as flight batteries.

What should I test before relying on backup power?

Confirm the cable and voltage, charge the battery fully, disable or account for comfort heat, and complete an overnight test with the exact CPAP settings you normally use.

What happens if the product is not right for my setup?

The official store currently presents a 30-day return window and direct technical support. Keep packaging and contact support with your order number and exact CPAP model.
